Endives with Ham

Ingredients
- 5 endives (bitter base cut and washed)
- 5 ham/jambon (sliced)
- 1 1/2 cup bechamel sauce
- 1 cup Emmental or any other grated cheese to your preference
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven on 220°C.
- Cook the endives in a pot of salted water for 15 minutes then let them drain.
- In a pan, add garlic, onions and olive oil and cook till light brown.
- In a pot, wrap each endives with one slice of ham, then add the garlic and onions on top of each wrap.
- Pour the béchamel sauce on top of the wrapped endives and be generous with grated cheese on top of it.
- Bake it till golden brown about 15 minutes.
